This is a recent painting which I really enjoyed painting. It is fairly large, at 36"x40" on canvas. It was done in the same way that my little bug paintings were, only much larger! I love the color of the blue crab, and really wanted to give it some presence. This piece is hanging in downtown Asheville at the Lobster Trap, a wonderful restaurant on Patton Avenue.
