Since we have been in the middle of the Brood XIV Cicada emergence, I have found the little critters fascinating. I of course had to paint one for my bug series. I won't see them again for 17 more years. Thankfully, I have thousands of models to choose from.

Awesome painting. Of course I think all cicada images are awesome, so I don't have a critical perspective.
